Hunting and Fishing
Acorn Ridge is in the center of it all!
When you stay at the Acorn Ridge Motel, you won't have far to go to find your "secret spot" for hunting or fishing! Green Lake County has, without question, some of the best hunting and fishing spots in all of Wisconsin. Public access and launches are plentiful for all these fine lakes and rivers. Every species of game fish native to Wisconsin can be found in these waters. Roughly 14,000 acres of lake and 100 miles of river awaits you.
We do not allow fish and game cleaning on the premises, but we do have a special locked freezer available for our guests to use for their "catch of the day" and game birds.
For hunters, "open to the public" land is everywhere! There is the vast White River Marsh area (11,000 acres) and the Grand River Marsh area (6,000), all within minutes of the motel. Over 25,000 acres of water and wetlands makes this truly a waterfowlers dream!
The motel is located right on the dividing line of two deer management units and three turkey hunting units! We are located on deer units 67A and 68A. Turkey units are 17, 23, 24. We can offer you assistance in finding what you need to make your fishing and hunting a success. We have outlets available for your boat or truck if it needs plugging in overnight.
